Who we are

North Star Landscaping is a landscaping company serving Anchorage, Eagle River and the surrounding communities. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us through this website.

What we collect

We collect the information you type into our estimate form: your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property, the type of project and whatever details you choose to describe.

Like most websites, our host also records ordinary technical information when a page is requested — the browser used, the approximate location, and the pages viewed. That is not linked to a name.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a consultation, prepare a quote and carry out work you ask us to do. If you become a customer we use the same details to contact you about that work.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email to people who have only asked for a quote.

Who else sees it

Our website host and the form software that delivers your enquiry to us both handle the information in the course of delivering it. We use them because we need them to run the site, not to share your details more widely.

Some pages show Google reviews. Google may record that your browser loaded that content, in the same way it would on any site showing them.

Cookies

This site uses cookies where they are needed to make it work — remembering that a form has been submitted, for example. It does not use advertising cookies to follow you to other websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may behave differently if you do.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for quoting and for the work that follows, and records relating to completed work are kept for as long as we are required to keep business records.
